Am I missing something? Walmart just got fined $11,000,000 for inadvertantly, second handidly, hiring ILLEGAL ALIENS to clean their stores. At the same time , our Government is pushing to have a law passed so that ILLEGAL ALIENS can be allowed to cross the border so they can WORK; probably in those same stores.

We already have a problem with illegals crossing and the taxpayer having to pay for their education, housing,and medical services, even though they are here illegally. It is bad enough that we have to put everything in both Spanish and English now-a-days. If LEGAL aliens wish to get ahead in this country they should learn the language. If we lived in THEIR country we would have to learn the language to flourish. In effect by catering to their lack of language skills we are assuring that they will have problems and possibly fail in their attempts to be assimilated.

I just read your February Newsletter, and was a bit surprised at your stance on our presence in Iraq.
You start off by quoting a letter to the President advocating removal of our troops from Iraq. Stating that our troops being there cause the "Insurgents rage" . Of course they do. The insurgents would like to rule the country without our interference. Something that an elected Democracy will NOT allow. Then you make it sound as if a large number of members of Congress sent this letter and espouse this stance. 16 members is not a large amount. There are over 500 members of Congress. When you get a majority to sign such a letter , please let me know. Even the Democrats will not sign such a letter. It would be political suicide.
You state that " War is not the answer". What is? You give no suggestion, much less a solution. The United Nations tried for many years and they finally admitted that "Negotiations" did not work. The answer was WAR followed up by Democracy to allow the people to govern themselves.
You then follow up that statement with another saying "We can all agree that US policy should be to withdraw completely." You will not get an argument from me on that subject. But only AFTER the job is done. And while we are at it, we should pull our troops out of S Korea, France, Germany, and Japan. Let them spend THEIR money for their protection.
As far as a financial contribution to fcnl to finance your lobbying campaign,, not likely. If you really think that America is killing and torturing INNOCENT civilians, then maybe you need to re-evaluate your sources of information.
You also state that "Many leaders of national peace and religious organizations are relying on your group----BUT you do not name even ONE. I have heard that phrase used over and over by the media. "Many people are concerned etc. etc." But none are ever named. It could be 2 or 4 or a couple more, but the phrase "Many ----" makes it sound as if there is a large groundswell of people who agree with your stance. At least you were honest in the first paragraph when you admitted that only 16 members of Congress signed the letter.
You want to improve relations with N Korea, by "peaceful relations" . Is that BEFORE, or AFTER they develop the BOMB? I assume that you are also in favor of IRAN helping N Korea develop said bomb. Well, I hope you can TALK them out of it, but I doubt it. Please let me know what success you have; but then if you do, I would expect it to be in every newspaper around the World.
If our country followed your idea of DISARMAMENT we would now be speaking German or Japanese.

I am constantly surprised that people can not understand why AIDS is spreading at such a rapid rate. It is obvious to me and should be to others. History tells us that whenever there has been a disease that was spreading rapidly, the people having it need to be Quarantined. That is not being done. In fact the infected people are being protected, by policies and laws that do not make any sense. If a company has an employee who , after a physical, is determined to have AIDS, that information cannot be given to anyone--even his co-workers. Consiquently, if that person decides he/she wants to have sex with a co=worker, that person goes into the relationship without pertinant knowledge that might save their lives.

Knowing the power of the sex drive in people, the infected person is not going to TELL that he/she has the disease. If they did then the sex would not be obtainable.In effect cutting off his/her supply of sex. Consiquently the knowledge is not given to the person who needs it, thus incresing the number of people with the disease. That person , not knowing they have been infected, passes it on etc etc.

I am not suggesting a red letter A be branded on the infected person, but there has to be a way to let people know that they can be infected if they have sex with that individual. Quarantine of people diagnosed and treatment ,seems the only way that I can see. Our laws are , in effect, spreading the disease by not allowing the person to be identified by prospective partners.

Does anyone except me have concerns about Martha having to spend 5 months in confinement at her Home? Sure she has to wear an ankle bracelet, BUT she can go shopping, go to the Drs, go towork for 45 hrs a week, etc etc. All this while sleeping and eating in a million dollar mansion on 153 acre estate. ? Is that really punishment? If so, Please sign me up. I will find some puff crime to commit tomorrow.

Or is this just another thing where if you have the bucks, you can get special treatment?

House arrest, or confinement, should be just that. She should not be allowed out ---period
